The following is a smattering of the cards, letters, and e-mail that has trickled into the Skrause Haus International.

Dear Mr. Skrause,
Thank you for answering my questions, in your completely personal way (Very usefull stuff, for our audience. Yes, I did sent an e-mail to all comics cartoonists in Cartoonet. Yes, I did like your work and your curriculum vitae too.I believe that almost every comics creator has important things to share with all the people, who love comics. The main thing is to express what you are thinking, to be not afraid of the exposition and to try to communicate with the others.Sometimes, humor is the solution....
Best regards, Alexandra Mylona, journalist.

Thank you, Alexandra, It isn't offten that the Skrause Haus International gets a calling from a journalist without the police being involved. Other than that, I will consider the source when I consider your words.
yours, Mister Skrause

PS Have you ever thought of the lucerative feild of "features?"

Dear Mr. Skrause,
Your comics is a scream riot.  I have always loved comics and yours is one of the best that I have seen on the net.  I like it mostly because of the dogs.
sincerely, John from Hoboken

Thank you, Johny, for your well presented letter.  You may rest assured that the dogs will appear again in the world of Monty Blanc .
yours, Mister Skrause

Dear Mister Skrause,
I look at the strange angles you try to effect in your strip and I wonder, why don't you just draw it?  You should give up and become a photographer.
sincerely, King Henry

Thank you, king for your insightful commentary.  I will put your comments in the proper receptacle.

Dear Mister Skrause,
I loved the comic about wasting life, then they go and play video games. It was awesome; I was laughing out loud.
God Bless, Joshua Billeaudeau

Thank you Josh for those smarmy words.  Best wishes to you and yours.

Dear Mister Skrause,
I want to collaborate with you, Skrause. I should spell your name wrong
The Bent

Dear Mr. Skrause
I really like your art and enjoy your sense of humor. I always have this one dream....
Hell Bent

Dear Mister Skrause,
Oh, I don't know what I was saying last night about collaborating, I drank about 10 pounds of beer yesterday. I watched a 2 hour bio on Pablo
Picasso and I thought of "Goobers" and Monty Blanc. Any influence there? Martens told me you're doing a strip with talking dogs? I'm doing a
pseudo heroes story about my 2 black cats soon....they'll talk, too.  Love your website, Skrause, it looks "keen."
Jimmy "Bent" Olsen

Thank you, the Bent, for your quasi coherent string of mail.  I am having a team of trained crypticians decipher it as I write.  As far as those talking cats go..... It won't be like "Get Fuzzy" will it?

Dear nephew Skrause,
I think you have the beginnings of  a catchy comic strip.  Let me know of future episodes.  Speaking of the dogs, I saw  only one appearance of them.  Did I miss other appearances?
God bless, Uncle Henry

Thank you for your solicited endorsement.  It has replaced the word "welcome" laying beside my front door.

Dear Mister Skrause,
Read your posting on Milwaukee and just want to let you know that I love my stay there (2 years).  I graduated from Marquette University and stayed on N17th St. Wish that  someday I can go back there to see the place.
Haryati,  Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Thank you, what ever your name is, for your comments about Milwaukee.  Here's a warm fuzzy for you.  I was in Singapore once and it was pretty clean.  That's as close as I got to Malaysia.  Incidentally,  do many of you populace suffer from malaise?

Dear Mister Skrause,
I like your site. I used to live in Pewaukee, 30 miles west of you.  Yes Milwaukee is a nice place. I'm glad to hear they finished the bridge to  nowhere. At least that is what I got from your site. The bridge I like the most is the one going from downtown to the harber. That is'nt the one the blues brothers flew off right. It was next to the one I mentioned.   I have 3 sites on tripod. pictures, wnc pictures and Asheville where I live.
I moved from Wi in 1987 because the south has mild winters.   You all have had good weather so far this year. Thats good.
I won't miss Jan.& Feb though. This is not a cut to you.   Visit Asheville NC sometime if you get a chance. Western North Carolina  is beautiful. Lots of mountians, clear streams, views& waterfalls.
Be good,   John

Thank you, John, for your empty surplusage.  I am always amused to hear about other people's homelands when I'm stuck right here in suds town.  Keep yer hot air below the Mason Dixon Line, pal.  This is a comic strip not a travelogue.

Dear Mister Skrause,
What a nice thing you've done here! Especially that "CatBox" cartoon, fine quality! There is just so much more I want to know about the person of Monty Blanc. So little is revealed in the strip. Is he the Anti-charliebrown? Scherm (sic)is the charliebrown character. Blanc is more of a Snoopy/Linus-gone-bad character. So these little "Goobers" all smoke, don't the female characters smoke? I have yet to see a "powerful woman" character like Lucy Van Pelt, or Peppermint Patty. Whatsamatta Skrause!?? are you afraid of powerful women?? Let your strip be your public therapy........DEAL WITH THESE ISSUES!!!
Your Chum
Heelpry
(P.S. I dare you to put this on your website!)

Thank you heelpry for you accusational tone and care free ways. A strong female pesence will soon enter to herass our hero Montgomery Blanc.
